  1. Buried Onions: Jacket cover A book cover is all important in the selling of a book. It is the first thing a potential buyer sees and could be the difference between a sale or otherwise. A cover, therefore, should be eye-catching and give some idea about what the story is all about, but not too much. A well-designed book cover might focus on the setting, the theme or a combination of both. There is also a second part to a book cover: the back. This contains the blurb, a limited outline of the plot (again, without too much detail so as not to give the whole story away) and two or three reviews. Based on your knowledge and understanding of the novel, “Buried Onions”, design your own jacket (front and rear) to increase sales of the book. Remember to include all of the elements above and feel free to produce it by hand or use any appropriate computer program (i.e. “publisher”).
