When you want to use I.O. and D.O. together with the same verb

3. How to form Pronomi Doppi The I.O. precedes the D.O. pronoun or ne.
The I.O. pronouns mi, ti, ci, and vi change their final i to e.
The I.O. pronouns gli, Gli, le, and Le become glie- and combine with the D.O. pronoun or ne to form one word.
4. Pronomi doppi can follow and attach to infinitives to form one word Example:
La giacca? Non te la vendo, preferisco regalartela.
5. When infinitive is preceded by dovere, potere or volere… The pronouns may attach to the infinitive or precede the conjugated verb.
Example:
-Ti vuoi mangiare la pasta?
-Sì, me la voglio mangiare.
or -Si, voglio mangiarmela.
6. Pronomi Doppi & Passato Prossimo When verb is in the passato prossimo, the past participle agrees in gender and number with the preceding D.O. pronoun, even when it is combined with an I.O. pronoun.
Example:
Glieli hai comprati?
Did you buy them (the gloves) for her?
7. Pronomi Doppi with Reflexive Pronouns Mostly the same, except in the 3rd person singular and plural forms:
Se lo, se la, se li, se le, and se ne
Example:
Mario si mette la cravatta.
Se la mette.
Note: The p.p still agrees in gender and number with the D.O. pronoun.
Mario se l’ha messa. (la cravatta)
8. Pronomi Doppi with the use of ci Ci can combine with the pronomi doppi-in this case it forms ce.
Example:
Avete lasciato le chiavi a casa?
No, non ce le abbiamo lasciate.
