Fellowship Office Duties • Sends out fellowship/award/grant notifications • Processes waivers for qualifying fellowships and training grants • Liaises with funding agencies during application process and after • Works with departments/programs • Assists students on applications and preparing for major funding competitions (ex: US Fulbright Program)

Fellowship– differences • Investigate campus/program websites • Apply EARLY or by the Priority Deadline • Professional, Masters and Doctoral-level considerations • Talk with prospective program(s) • Including advisors, support staff, directors of graduate study • Talk to Financial Aid • Merit v. Need-Based
