The System however can be turned back on immediately.

  2. Wayne State University - Scott Hall – 2nd floor Projector Pages 2 Main Menu Page The Left and Right Projector buttons cause the illustrated page flips to occur. Each page has identical functionality, except which projector is under control. The same sources are available for both projectors. You must turn the projector on using the ‘Power’ button. Sources are: System PC is the permanent PC installed in the lectern. Laptop PC is the VGA connection in the lectern suitable for connecting a laptop computer (or any other VGA device), Document Camera is the WolfVision visualizer installed near the lectern. VCR and DVD select the JVC combo deck. One for the DVD section, one for the VCR section. These 2 buttons also cause additional page flips to control the deck. On the left side of the pages are 3 buttons to control the projector. The projector will turn on with any source selection, and turn off when the System is turned off, so those functions are automated in addition to appearing here. The ‘Mute Image’ button toggles the projector image muting function on and off. The button ‘Volume Levels’ on the right side of each page causes a page flip to the audio volume control page. See next slide. Main Menu button page flips back to the Main Menu Page.

  3. Wayne State University - Scott Hall – 2nd floor 3 Volume Page Left Proj Page (or Right) The Volume Levels button causes the illustrated page flip. The Audio page contains 2 sets of volume control buttons; the Program audio controls and the Microphone audio controls. The Program audio controls also appear on both the projector control pages. The Microphone level controls ONLY appear here. The microphones installed in the system are mixed together to a single signal and controlled using the Mic Volume buttons. The Program Audio buttons control the level of the LAST selection made to either projector, playing on the speakers installed near the screens. Main Menu page flips back to the Main Menu Page.

  4. Wayne State University - Scott Hall – 2nd floor DVD and VCR Pages 4 Left (or Right) Projector Page Selecting the DVD player causes the illustrated popup page to appear allowing full control of the DVD section of the JVC combo deck. These are the same commands found on the original hand-held remote control that ships with the deck. The top area of the popup page contains the ‘transport’ type buttons controlling playback of a DVD and the lower area contains all the buttons needed to navigate the DVD’s on-screen menus as well as setup and additional functionality of the DVD player. This popup page will remain in place until a new selection is made, or the projector is turned off. Selecting the VCR causes the illustrated popup page to appear allowing control of the VCR section of the JVC combo deck. Basic transport function buttons for tape playback are supported.

  5. Wayne State University - Scott Hall – 2nd floor 5 Projector Prompts Left (or Right) Projector Page Illustrated here are the 2 projector popup pages indicating the warmup and cooldown cycle of the projector. The projector will turn ON with any source selection or the ON button. The projector will turn off with the OFF button or when the entire system is turned off. The indicator popups have bargraphs that progress from left to right tracking the warmup and cooldown cycles. The projector will not be able to be turned back on until the cooldown cycle is complete.
