  2. Historical overview • The sociopath disorder was discovered in 1930 • It was discovered by a psychologist by the name of G.E. Partridge • It was found by research done on the disorder of Psychopath.

Signs of Sociopaths Psychologists have classified 4 different types of sociopaths: • common: They are not ashamed or embarrassed about certain things normal people usually are. • alienated: They have a lonely life and often hold objects and pets as more valuable things rather than human friendship. • aggressive: They like to injure, scare and bully people. They have a strong need for power and control. They are usually active in getting their way and especially cruel if they are betrayed or denied • dissocial : They are extremely anti- social. They constantly complain about their life and never accept responsibility for their errors.

Symptoms for Sociopaths • They have a Glibness and Superficial Charm, meaning that they are easily influenced to do something. • They never recognize the rights of others and see their self serving behaviors as permissible, meaning they don’t think anything they do is the right thing to do • They are pathological liars, meaning they lie easy and/or they lie a lot.

  5. More…. • They have a incapacity for love, meaning they can never love too much • They have a need for stimulation, meaning that they could have random verbal outburst.

  6. Treatments for Sociopaths • This disorder can be treated by medicines prescribed for the symptoms. • There is no specific treatment for this disorder, there are multiple medicines for different symptoms.

  7. how common is Sociopath • Sociopath is about as common as autism, about 1 in 20 children come up with this disorder usually when they are a toddler. • There may be up to 3 to 12 million sociopaths in the United States.

  8. Sociopath is not a mental illness it is a personality disorder and the condition is highly genetic.
