New Schools of Mableton CountyThe Small Public School System that serves four communities in SOUTHWEST ATLANTA The district consists of two schools: Seymore Elementary Pre – K – Grade 5 The total enrollment of approximately 900 students Dunlap Middle School Grades 6-8 represents many different cultures and beliefs

  3. Executive Summary New Schools of Mableton County have a visionary design and innovative plan to integrate technology throughout the curriculum. This plan has enabled us to successfully bridge the gap between a well-defined plan for integration and the effective implementation of that plan over two and a half years time. We developed a plan to integrate technology and a process through which this plan would be implemented. Key to the implementation process has been a professional growth model that connects teacher needs and training with curricular application and innovation.

OPPORTUNITIES GOAL: PROFIT AND GROWTH - virtual classrooms State of the art classrooms project learning - PROMETHEAN BOARDS, SMART TECHNOLOGIES social networking, web pages for homework access electronic testing • bringing laptops, cell phones, e- books to class, BYOT • Train the old school teacher, mentors for computer trainings • Provide computers in the homes of the students
