    3. The statue of liberty • The Statue of Liberty is a man-made landmark located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor.

    4. The Statue of Liberty • This landmark was given as a gift in 1884 from France.

    5. The statue of liberty • People come to see this landmark because it symbolizes freedom to people all over the world.

    6. Interesting facts • The Statue of Liberty is made from pounded copper. • The statue is over 151 feet tall. • The arm holding the torch was sent to Philadelphia for America’s 100th birthday celebration in 1876.
