  1. The staffing and recruiting industry has seen its fair share of changes over the years. From the increasing digital/online nature of the business to increased specialization of staffing and recruiting firms (by profession, industry, or geographic location), it is very different from what it used to be.

  2. Another big shift happened around 2020 when the COVID pandemic hit and huge numbers of people who could not work from home were laid off or furloughed. This led to an influx of people trying to get work through staffing agencies, but all online because most everyone was involuntarily quarantined or voluntarily preferred searching for jobs from home to avoid contracting COVID or putting anyone at risk. With the number of recruiters not ratcheting up at the same pace, this left many people looking for work in various silos of recruiters and the staffing agencies they work for.

  3. This is where a split recruiting network comes in. A split network is an online crowdsourced community of recruiters that make placements possible that may not otherwise be possible if everyone stayed stuck in their silos. In other words, it is recruiters working with other recruiters to match up candidates with jobs and everyone getting a slice of the pie at the end of the day.

  4. These 2 recruiters are generally known as the exporter and the importer and they match up the candidate/job seeker with the open position at the hiring company. There are many benefits to a split recruiting network listed below, which is why many recruiters and staffing agencies are scrambling to join such organizations/networks to get in on the action. But without further ado,

  5. • Happy hiring managers • Happy job seekers/candidates • The income • Optimized workflow The top 10 benefits of a split recruiting network are: • More cooperation and less competition • Better utilization of time • Reduction of overhead • Improved recruiting experienceoverall • High feedback ratings • Quicker turnaround

  6. Split recruiting networks are cropping up for just about every geographic region, profession, and economic industry.Medical recruiters, for example, have foundsplit recruiting networkshelpful due to heightened demand for healthcare since 2020.

  7. People have been keeping an eye on their health to hopefully never catch COVID, improve their health so they are in the best physical shape to fight COVID if they do catch it, or engage the best healthcare resources if they catch COVID and wish to be admitted to a medical facility.
