Current workgroupsData types • Scope: Define a new set of data types or profile of ISO 21090 for ISO EN 13606. • Participants: Tony Austin, David Moner, Adolfo Muñoz Carrero, Shanghua Sun, Nathan Christopher Lea, Dipak Kalra. • Current status: • A first analysis has been performed. • A draft set of candidate types has been defined

Current workgroupsData types • There are two possible conformances to the standard: • Direct conformance: based on the direct selection of data types from the standard. • Indirect conformance: based on creating your own data types but mapped to the standard ones. • We have chosen an indirect conformance approach.

  4. Current workgroupsData types • Start from scratch, just taking into account the needs of the standard. • Keep data types simple. • Composed data types will mainly be represented by upper structures: CLUSTERs with ELEMENTs.
