33. Performance evidence Linked to a unit’s elements, performance criteria and foundation skills States volume (or frequency) of what learner must be able to demonstrate

34. Performance evidence Learner is required to demonstrate they can diagnose and repair a four wheel disc brake system. Assessor assesses that performance against elements and PCs, range of conditions and foundation skills Elements and performance criteria Assessor assesses learner performance against the performance criteria • Range of conditions • Assessor notes that there is a bold Italicised phrase in PC 2.1 re WHS requirements and that the Range of Conditions states that: • Work health and safety requirementsmust include: • procedures to manage and control brake dust and brake fluid. • Learner’s ability to do this must also be assessed as part of the PC. Foundation skills Assessor notes that there are a number of foundation skills the learner must demonstrate during their performance and builds this into his/her assessment tool. These skills will fall naturally out of the vocational task.
