  1. Woe to the Nation Ripe for Judgment The Churches Flame Flickers While Culture Is Killing Us Isaiah 5:8-25

  2. What the Culture Does to Kids, is Reprehensible.Mark 9: 42But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. Education     Exposure Entertainment

  3. What the Church Does Not Do In Confronting Culture Is Reprehensible. -Denominations Are More Concerned With Numbers (especially the green ones). -Pastors Have Bought Into The Idea That We Are To Be More Like Culture, To Reach It. -Churches Refuse To Stand Up To The Moral Deplorable Movements. -Churches Have Compromised The Word Of God.

  4. So What Do We Do?  • We (Stay) Become Faithful! • We Stand On God’s Word And Do Not Waiver! • We Wait On Judgment And Be Grateful!

  5. 1. (8-10) Woe to the GREEDY Woe to those who join house to house; they add field to field, till there is no place where they may dwell alone in the midst of the land!

  6. 2. (11-17) Woe to those who Party Endlessly, and Celebrate Everything but God. Woe to those who rise early in the morning, that they may follow intoxicating drink; who continue until night, till wine inflames them! The harp and the strings, the tambourine and flute, and wine are in their feasts; but they do not regard the work of the Lord, nor consider the operation of His hands.

  7. 3. (18-21) Woe to those who confuse moral issues, who think that they know better than God does. Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as if with a cart rope... Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

  8. 4. (22-23) Woe to the corrupt, who Place Greater Value on Pleasure than on Fairness and Justice. Woe to men mighty at drinking wine, woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink, who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away justice from the righteous man!

  9. 5. (24-30) The Lord promises a Sure and Complete Judgment. Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root will be as rottenness, and their blossom will ascend like dust; because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
