Using the Tutor Database. This is a quick guide to using the online tool for setting up and administering your CTA classes. It should make the process clear, but if there are any problems, please contact Graham Park or Paul Wright on 0141 229 5350. Go to the Tutor Database area.

  1. Using the Tutor Database • This is a quick guide to using the online tool for setting up and administering your CTA classes. • It should make the process clear, but if there are any problems, please contact Graham Park or Paul Wright on 0141 229 5350

  2. Go to the Tutor Database area

  3. Add a location You will already have been assigned to your local delivery centre (usually the local authority)

  4. Enter the details of your training location – please complete all the fields ! This will be useful for your candidates later. Continue takes you to the main menu.

  5. Add a class

  6. Enter the details of your class. Course = CTA Course Title = make this easy to recognise, the name of your group is good. If you do lots of these, assign a number for your own reference. E.g. Falkirk active schools bike club group No. 1 Training Venue – you will have added this previously, just select from the menu. Date = for a one day course, these will be the same. Notes = Anything special about the course or candidates, delivery details for resources etc. Click Add Class

  7. Now go to add candidates !

  8. Enter your candidates details – please complete all the fields. Adding an email address will allow you to send a certificate Then click “enroll to class” Continue takes you to the main menu.

  9. Certifying your Candidates. On course completion, go to “View all”

  10. Here’s the list of all your candidates, click the magnifying glass to look at an individual.

  11. Now add the qualification – the certificate will be sent to the candidate.
