بخش اعظمي از ذخائر علوم تجربي كشاورزان دانش بومي آنهااست لذا شناخت ان براي برنامه ريزان و مجريان در بخش بسيار ضروريست، زيرا برابر تحقيقات انجام شده، نشان از تاثير شناخت موقعيت هاي فرهنگي مثل نگرشها، بينشها ، اعتقادات وديگر ارزش ها و باورها براي آشنائي با دانش بومي آنان دارد پس مي توان گفت كه اشاعهدهندگان تكنولوژي تا با اين عوامل موٌثرًًٌ در جامعه كشاورزان ،آشنايي لازم پيدا نكنند موفقيت در انتقال وپذيرش تكنولوژي در آن مناطق در ابهام خواهد بودضمن اينكه در تحقيقات ديگر نشان مي دهد مسنترها پذيرش كمتري نسبت به جوانترها دارندکه نشان از نقش عوامل فرهنگي اثرگذارمثل باورهاي سنتي در نزد مسن ترهامي باشد. غلامحسين نصوحي
