Cambridge Overview • Cambridge Credit Counseling is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency providing education and financial counseling nationwide. • Founded in 1996, Cambridge has helped more than 1 million Americans regain control of their finances. • Cambridge is a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, and is also approved by the Executive Office for U.S. Trustees to provide bankruptcy counseling and debtor education. • Cambridge Credit Counseling maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. • Our independently certified counselors average 11 years of financial counseling experience. Counseling Service Overview • We perform a thorough review of the individual’s unique financial situation. • Provide personalized advice to help develop an effective budget • Recommend a course of action appropriate to their income and expenses • Present options to remedy specific areas of concern • Follow up periodically to help them stay on track and reach their goals • When appropriate, enroll consumers in a Debt Management Plan (DMP) INFO16-062012.1

  6. Support for Consumers • Only 20% of the consumers who contact us are eligible for a debt management plan. As an educational non-profit, Cambridge provides services regardless of enrollment. • Each individual we counsel is also provided with a detailed Action Plan, based on the financial analysis performed by their Cambridge counselor. The counselor follows up within 45 days to encourage recommended action(s). • Each receives relevant articles created by our Certified Educators in Personal Finance. • Each receives the most recent edition of our Learn Now or Pay Later guide. • Each receives our Budgeting With the Connors educational program. • Each counseled individual is encouraged to make use of our online resources, at no cost and without obligation.
