It is known for its strong adhesion allowing cars to drive safely even with water, ice, or snow on the paved roads. There are also asphalt mixing plants and asphalt premix plants that produce perpetual pavements, as these mixtures, combined with the application of proper construction methods, can help last up to fifty years.

  3. Asphalt plants have continued to improve their production process, not just for added efficiency, but also to help reduce the effects on the environment. With mobile asphalt batching plants, they managed to bring the plants closer to the work sites. This reduces the transport cost along with the required heating system needed to transport. Lintec has produced mobile containerized asphalt batching plants that have taken this concept to the next level. Most of the paved roads in countries like the US, which has 2.3 million miles of roads, are paved with bitumen asphalt. With that high volume of demand, it is important to reduce the carbon footprint of asphalt production. Lintec and Linnhoff asphalt premix plants and asphalt recycling plants use recycled asphalt pavement (RAP), and with this application, bitumen asphalt consumption can be significantly reduced.

  4. How Asphalt Recycling Works RAP is popular for road building as it delivers both economic and environmental benefits for financial and environmental reasons. For Lintec and Linnhoff plants, RAP material can be recycled with cost-effective asphalt recycling systems. The system will help conserve natural resources, which will be a plus factor for the community. By using RAP material, you will consume less raw materials like bitumen and aggregates. RAP material is gathered by excavating road pavement or milling waste. It will be pulverized by an asphalt recycling granulator, where it will be processed and screened to fit the size required by the mixture. When it meets the standards, it will be mixed with the virgin aggregates. If there are still chunks of asphalt pavement, they will still be crushed with an asphalt granulator in the asphalt mixing plant to attain consistency in the mixture. In this entire process, the excess asphalt dust emissions are greatly reduced.

  5. Lintec Asphalt Recycling System Lintec and Linnhoff have two different types of recycling plants - the Hot Recycling Plant (HRC) and Cold Recycling Plant (CRC) Hot Recycling Plant (HRC) Up to 60% RAP material can be recycled with HRC. RAP material is heated with hot air from a hot air generator in a parallel recycling drum. The heated RAP material is then weighed before being mixed with virgin materials in the mixer of the asphalt mixing plant. All Lintec and Linnhoff hot recycling plants have their own special features that allow an efficient recycling conversion. These features include using a parallel drum completed with a high-pressure burner and radial-/axial-flow fan coupled with a regular plate. This set-up will ensure a fully combusted flame. The Hot Recycling Plant also filters harmful fumes and uncirculated asphalt emissions right at the baghouse filter. This feature effectively reduces the pollution caused by the asphalt plant. Pollutants are reduced by expending harmful fumes and filtering uncirculated asphalt fumes at the baghouse filter.

  6. For the Hot Recycling Plant, the optimum temperature of RAP material is controlled at the ideal temperature of 140-150 °C before being discharged into the buffer bin. Cold Recycling Plant (CRC) With CRC, up to 30% RAP material can be utilized in the hot mix design. It’s considered cold because a lower temperature is required. Direct from the RAP hopper, the RAP material is weighed before being mixed with virgin materials in the mixer of the asphalt mixing plant. For both plants, production of excessive asphalt fines or dust is reduced to avoid clogging at the pollution control unit. The result is reduced maintenance at the circulation system and the drum, and the resulting asphalt mixture will be consistent. For more information visit :- https://lintec-linnhoff.com/
