  2. Step 1 • We have chosen what to make as a surprise for Christmas. • Something spectacular and nice.

  3. Step 2 • The most liked shapes are the angel and the pine tree. • We have chosen these ones.

  4. Step 3 • Drawing the pattern and the folds of the lantern.

  5. Step 4 • Drawing the shape with a crayon. • Cutting out the shapes.

  6. Step 5 • Cutting out rectangular shapes from a nice piece of wrapping paper.

  7. Step 6 • Sticking the rectangulars on the holes.

  8. And finally... • …we switched off the light and sang Christmas carols by the light of our lanterns.
