  3. Categories • Impact: • How does this picture first hit you, what is the initial impression? How much ‘WOW!’? • Composition: • The placement of the main subject and how the surroundings work with and compliment the primary subject. How well is everything put together? Is this an eye-appealing image? • Lighting: • How does the light work with the main subject? How well does the light compliment the main subject or theme?
