  1. Let us see it later

  2. “ Stop cutting Trees & Start Planting Trees ” Of course, this is not new advice, it is very old advice, but there is no Excuse. In the natural system, there will not be any Excuse, every action gives re-action and already started impacts of “Climate Change and Global Warming “ Start Stop

  3. Already started impacts of“Climate Change and Global Warming “ Human Health Drinking Water Social System Eco-system

  4. Already Effects on ”human health” Global warming already contributes to more than 150,000 deaths and 5 million illnesses annually. Those numbers could raise significantly from now in a surprising number of ways: speeding the spread of infectious diseases such as malaria and dengue fever; creating conditions that lead to potentially fatal malnutrition and diarrhea;

  5. Already Drinking Water crisis observed As on date already, about 110 crore people living on the globe suffering from a serious lack of fresh water. By 2025 this number will increase to 300 crore, which is over 40 percent of the entire population worldwide and the crisis will hit first and foremost – China and India –

  6. Effects the Ecological systems According to the scientist, already few kind of animals, birds and trees disappeared due to the “Climate Change”.

  7. Effects the Social systems: (Heavy floods) The Climate change is expected to particularly affect some sectors and systems related to human activities. Low-lying coastal systems are vulnerable to sea level rise and storm surge.

  8. Already Effects in the Natural systems It has already been observed the Rising Sea Level due to melting of snow ice in the North Pole and South Pole due to increasing heat on the earth and if this is continued there is every possibility of shrinking of earth into the water

  9. How this Climate Change & Global Warming happening We all know, that it is happening due to human activities, but still let us discuss

  10. Deforestation ( Cutting Trees)

  11. Burning of fossil fuel(Petrol, diesel etc for vehicles)

  12. Increasing of greenhouse gases (Factory Emissions).

  13. What Happens, if this is continued There are 3 Situations

  14. Situation - 1 Unexpected Earth Quakes and Tsunami

  15. Human Activities taking back Planet Earth to its original shape (A burning piece divided from Planet Sun and formed as Planet Earth, now again the Planet Earth going back to its original shape of burning due to human activities)

  16. Planet Earth going back to its original shape Due to “Climate Change & Global Warming”

  17. We get one most important Question What Government is doing, why can not government alone solve this problem ? “Government is very much doing, what it can do, now only let is we have to do” . (Let us see in detail)

  18. What is to be done to reduce Global Warming ? • Plant Trees. 2. Reduce Pollutant activities.

  19. Planting of Trees & its cost How many Trees to be planted ? According to me 100 trees are required per every person on the earth as follows : Total Global Emission (in 2008) : 3,000 crore Tones (30 Billion Tones) Total Global Population : 630 crore (round figure apprx.) Global average emission per person : 4.7 Tones (apprx) How much one tree will absorb CO2 : 45 Kgs (solid tree) So, nearly 100 trees are required per person on the Earth. Why should we take Global Average ? Whether only Plants / Tress can absorb Co2 ?

  21. Planting of Trees & its cost What will be cost for the Government ? • Rs. 10,000 per tree If, so how much the Govt. should spend per person ? - Rs. 10 Lakh Per person How much the Govt. is able to spend currently ? - Rs. 4 per person If, so how many years, it will take to plant required number of trees ? : 2.5 Lakh Years What will be cost, if we (People) do it ? + 10,000 per tree So, Govt. can not do it, only we (people) should do it

  22. Is there so much land on this earth ? Let us take India, as example : How much land is required per person ? : 1 Acre per person How much land is required for Indian Population ? : 100 Crore Acres But, Total land : 75 Crore Acres Cultivable Land : 30 Crore Acres If, take out 50% : 15 crore Acres It is just only 15% our requirement. So, by only planting of trees will not be solution, we should very much reduce pollutant activities.

  23. But, in Anantapur district, it is better plant trees Due to the following 2 reasons : • Dry Area. • Required land is there (we are lucky) Total land in Anantapur district : 45 lakh Acres (apprx). Total Population in Anantapurdt : 40 lakh (Apprx)

  24. What are pollutant activities and Why the Govt. can not prohibit ? In current world every activity is pollutant activity. It is not practically possible to prohibit (best example is smoking and alcohol, saying it is injurious to the health, Govt. permits) Another important is that : It will create economic disaster like un-employment and other economic imbalances. Let us see in detail.

  25. How People Economic Activities will help each other Take one Example : There are just 10 people in one country and all of them do only agriculture, think all 10 of them are in Agriculture”. No other activity and No pollution. What will be GDP ?

  26. How People Economic Activities will help each other What will be GDP ? (Think All its value : Rs. 10,000) GDP : Agriculture - 10 Person : Rs. 10,000 ___________ Total : Rs. 10,000 =========== GDP per capita : Rs. 1,000.

  27. How People Economic Activities will help each other Think, these people will get different ideas and get diversified into different fields as follows : 4 of them produce : Agriculture. 2 of them produce : House and Furniture. 2 of them Produce : Restaurant. 2 of them produce : Entertainment. What will be GDP ?

  28. How People Economic Activities will help each other What will be GDP ? Agriculture – 4 persons : Rs. 10,000 Housing - 2 Persons : Rs. 5,000 Restaurant - 2 Persons : Rs. 5,000 Entertainment – 2 Persons : Rs. 5,000 ___________ Total : Rs. 25,000 =========== GDP per capita : Rs. 25,000.

  29. How People Economic Activities will help each other So, more Economic activities of people will create more economy. Also it will improve human living standards. So, as many activities as possible required. But we should also bear in mind Global Warming and find alternative ways and means.

  30. What are best ways to come out of Global Warming ? There are so many ways, we can reduce, but significantly the following 3 ways : • Stop cutting Trees and Start Planting Trees. • Use Solar lighting for house hold things. • Reduce personal vehicles and use public transport / Solar Vehicles. Because, the above will not create any un-employment and on top that it will save natural resources. However, currently, let us concentrate on planting trees as we need to study more about using solar as it requires more investment.

  31. What kind of trees to plant and where to plant • Any Tree is OK (But, not plants) . • Any where (either public or private place).

  32. If we go for Tree plantation, whether we will get any food shortage ? 1. Fruit Trees : • Fruits - yield will be much more than rice / Dal. • Fruits also very much healthy. 2. Other Trees : . All other trees are very much helpful (like furniture, housing and paper Etc)

  33. Do you agree ? Whether people are aware ? If so , why people neglect ?

  34. Who are people ? First : me, Next : You, Further : Others and Finally : We all (All human being on this Earth). Do you agree ?

  35. Our General Attitude, about Social Responsibilities : “Wait & See”. First Neighbor, then we can think of doing ! ( It is not that people do not care, of course if people do not care, how can so many great things would have happened on the Earth ! Even people have been giving their life for the society in several instances, but still people“wait & see“ Because, we are fully occupied with our own works, So when it comes to Social Responsibility, we wait & see and make sure 100% that it will not be one more headache) Where is big risk in planting trees, compare to losses ! So, I want to suggest : “Do & Make others to do” “ Let us plant Trees & Make others to plant Trees”

  36. What we can do ? Best way is : “Do and tell others to do “ Not keen on Donations : Better to accept only selectively with high care. As neither it is safe nor it will serve purpose.

  37. Others ways : Contributions / Sponsorships What is Donation ? Somebody just give money and they will not involve into activities. Contributions ? Somebody will give money for specific purpose and also involve. Sponsorships ? Advertisements.

  38. Contributions Somebody can contribute as follows : • Planting of 10 or 50 or 100 trees (We take approval from the Municipality for some location and in that we will allot to people who are interested) . • Contribute Trees / Guards / land. • Print and Circulate Save Nature Promotion material.

  39. Sponsorships Sponsorships are mainly advertisements, some body can make use of our activities for their advertisements as follows : 1. On Tree guards. 2. Banners in the meetings / Seminars. 3. Promotion material like brochure and book lets

  40. Our policy is to do and tell others to do If so what will be our relationship with others? There should be some scheme

  41. Better is Certificate scheme as follows • Those who plant 10 or more trees, let us give certificate of appreciation as “Save Nature Visionary” • Those who plant 100 trees and make 10 Save Nature Visionary , let us give Certificate as “Save Nature Mentor” 3. Those who creates 100 Mentors, give certificate as “Save Nature Legendary”

  42. Do we have so much image ? • We will also will bring Celebrities once in year and do Anniversary in April or May • Our is going to be international brand (As we are already in 8 countries : India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesea, Thailand, Laos) We also have plan to visit all 190 countries in the world and plant at least 10 trees in each country

  43. What will be relationship among • Subbamma & Sreeramulu Foundation. • Anantapur Save nature Foundation • Global Save Nature Foundation

  44. Relationship • Subbamma & Sreeramulu Foundation : Is only contributor / sponsor . 2. Global Save Nature Foundation is just website www.savenaturefoundation.org it will act as: • Guide. • International Network 3. Anantapur Save NATURE is independent organisation.

  45. Our image will depend on our Finance Management So First you need to reserve money for our commitments, like : • Office rent per 1 year • Salaries 1 year • Office Expenses like electricity and other 1 year • Any other Commitments in 1 year Only Balance money, we should plan for any new works

  46. Balance Money 50% for our planting trees or trees distribution. 50 % for meetings

  47. What kind of meetings 1. Meetings with organizations like Lions Club, Rotary Club, Arya Vysya Sangam , Merchant Associations 2. Home Meetings with Friends and relatives

  48. Our cost will keep on coming down • Budgeted : Rs. 2,000 per tree. • Hosuing Board : Rs. 500/- per tree. • If we give only trees : Rs. 50/- per tree • If we give only Certificates : ?
