Free & Simple Free and simple tools that you already have or can have for free by downloading them from the Internet • Photo Story 3 for Windows (on the CD) • Movie Maker for Windows (on the CD) • Live Movie Maker • Lite Movie Maker • Movie Maker (for Windows 7) • Movie Maker 2.6 (for Vista) • Wink (on the CD)

Photo Story 3 for Windows • A free program by Microsoft • Windows add-on or plugin • Compatible with Windows 7 • Free downloading on the Internet • You can find it on the CD • Import graphics or photos (jpg, jpeg, tif, gif, bmp, or png) • 300 max slides • Record voice (Max 5 minutes on each slide) • Add text to graphics/photos/images • Add background music • No Photo Story for Mac, but there are similar, free programs for Mac

Photo Story 3 for Windows • Add text on graphics/photos • Import or create music • Adjust motions • Turn PowerPoint Presentation into videos • Save PowerPoint into JPG and import into Photo Story 3 • Final finished product is a xxx.wmv (Windows Media Video) • View the xxx.wmv with Windows Media Player or RealPlayer and others • Cannot use videos from a camcorder or camera

  5. Microsoft Movie Maker Windows 7 • Microsoft Movie Maker for Windows 7 • Movie Maker 2.6 for Vista • Free download if you cannot find it in your Windows OS • More sophisticated than Photo Story 3 • Pictures/Photos • Music • Import videos • Text • Record voice • Mix music

Microsoft Movie Maker Windows 7 • If you have a webcam, you can capture yourself giving a lecture • Make a video of yourself giving a lecture in Movie maker • Use this video together with photos and other videos • Final finished product is xxx.wmv (Windows Media Video) • View xxx.wmv with Windows Media player or RealPlayer or others

  7. Wink • Free open source for download at http://www.debugmode.com/wink/ • Good for demo • Capturing the screens/movements • Voice • Pictures • Import music • Text • Flash videos • Final products: Xxx.htm, xxx.js, xxx.swf • Load all three files into a course management system
