To investigate Indigenous traditions, their creation narratives, and relationships and interconnections among humans, animals, vegetation, the earth, spirits and the spirit world;

To learn about spiritual traditions which are commonly found within or associated with Aboriginal traditions;

To understanding the components of human well-being situated within interconnected contexts of communities (human, spirit, nature); and

To examine the destructive effects of colonization on Aboriginal peoples and cultures, and contemporary efforts to recover cultural ceremonies and healing traditions.
