  3. PHYSICAL INVENTORY SYSTEM Determining the amount of a product by hand.

  4. PERPETUAL INVENTORY SYSTEM Continuous count of products in a business —barcodes, computer systems, etc.

  5. PURCHASE ORDER Lists the quantity, variety, prices, etc of products ordered; filled out by the buyer

  6. PACKINGS LISTS, INVOICES AND RECEIVING RECORDS • List broken down by items in the shipment to be distributed. • Billing statement broken down by items in the shipment. • List of all the items received in the shipment and their condition.

  7. BLIND CHECK A registration of all the received products in a shipment before comparing them to the invoice.

  8. DIRECT CHECK Comparing the received products immediately with the invoice for the shipment.

  9. SPOT CHECK Random product checks for quantity/quality etc.

  10. QUALITY CHECK An entire check of the condition of the products received in a shipment
