Introduction • World War Two started on September 3rd1939 and lasted until 1945. Life in World War Two was very scary ( after war it continued to be aswell).The war was a battle involving Germany, Great Britain other countries . It was a very dangerous time. Lots of men got killed. The war started over 70 years ago.

Evacuees went to the country side by train because they could not stay in London .when the evacuees went on the train they were going to a home for the war so they didn’t get killed .Lots of evacuees packed in there bag ,this kind of thing : favourite toy , tooth brush and tooth paste , clothes and maybe another pair of shoes.
Some food we couldn’t eat because boats could not cross the sea. Milk , bread , cheese , butter and meat were all rationed.
