Primary: 3 colorsthatcan’tbe mixed or formed by othercolors • Secondary: 3 colorsformed by mixingprimarycolors • Tertiary: 6 colorsformed by mixing a primary and a secondarycolor • Analogous: Any 3 colorsthat are side by side on a 12 part colorwheel • Complementary: Any 2 colorsthat are directly opposite eachother on the colorwheel • Tint: Anycolor mixed with white • Shade: Anycolor mixed with black
