  • finds references to journal articles etc

  • complements the Library Catalogue by listing the contents of journals and other collections of papers

  • provides references - some also link to full text

  • searchable by subject, author, publication date, journal, language, etc

    eg British Education Index, ERIC, Australian Education Index, ASSIA, Sociological Abstracts, LLBA, Web of Science, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences, ...etc
