Transforming European Energy Policy for a Sustainable Future

Our party's program for the 2020 European elections focuses on reshaping energy policy to achieve social justice and sustainability. Despite the 2020 goal of 20% renewable energy, only 15.3% has been reached. We advocate for complete phasing out of nuclear power plants and promoting renewable energy sources. Our vision includes stringent architectural guidelines for energy-producing buildings like passive houses. To address rising electricity prices, we propose a VKS tax system (entertainment, kerosene, coal, and electricity taxes) with an environmental component. Emphasizing social justice, our plan prioritizes efficient energy use, transnational rail lines, and transitioning the automotive industry. Think innovatively and socially—vote for ESP in the upcoming elections for a brighter, greener future!
