  2. 2009 Solicitation • Conducted from January – April 2009 • Focus on JARC priority projects

  3. Priority JARC Projects • Car-Sharing • Short-term rentals, including hourly • Rental includes gas and insurance • Annual membership fee • Cars located near metro stations • JARC projects in Seattle and L.A.

  4. Priority JARC Projects • Expanding transit in underserved neighborhoods • Higher frequency on existing routes • Adding routes to underserved areas

  5. Priority JARC Projects • Expanded Guaranteed Ride Home • For commuters using carpooling or transit • Available 4 times per year • For unscheduled overtime or unexpected situations (e.g., sick child) • Rides are free

  6. Priority JARC Projects • Shuttles to major suburban employment sites • National Harbor • Dulles Corridor • I-270 Corridor • Others?
