    2. Transitions into Adulthood Support programme for young people with ASD in Greater Glasgow area. Focus on HFA and Asperger syndrome. Gradual support through secondary. Preparation for adulthood. Funded by GCC.

    3. Transitions into Adulthood Liaise with schools; work with young people; identify strengths and skills. Disability awareness; self-advocacy; decision making; emotion management; college/careers guidance. Develop confidence, social skills and awareness of self and others.

    4. Teenscene Supported youth group for teenagers with ASD. East Dunbartonshire and North Ayrshire. Social Work and Education Dept funded. Aims to encourage social interaction with peers; promote confidence and introduce young people to activities appropriate to age and interests.

    5. Teenscene Group rules agreed by discussion. Swimming; bowling; go-karting; ice-skating; cinema; indoor climbing; snowboarding; computing; photography and music.

    10. Parent Support 15 parent support groups Dundee; Glasgow; West Dunbartonshire; Dumfries and Galloway; E. Ayrshire; South Queensferry; Linlithgow; Inverclyde; Stirling, South Lanarkshire, N. Ayrshire, Kirkcudbright, Wick, Inverness and Aberdeen.

    11. Autism Resource Centre Adult autism team: Clinical and LAC To improve social, physical and emotional well-being of adults with autism. Multi-level training for practitioners, service users and carers. Raise awareness of adult autism. Information resource. Library, information and computer resources.

    12. prospects Employment service for people with autism. Provides info, advice, support and consultancy for employers and potential employees. Intensive employment training courses. Ongoing support once employed.

    13. Adult Social Groups 5 Groups in Scotland Chance for adults to meet others and Develop social skills and Form individual friendships and Take part in a variety of social activities

    14. HE/FE Support Tailored support Funded via DSA or place of study Assistance with work placement Staff training Onward transition to adult life Independent living skills

Outreach Supporting individuals and their families in a home setting, in the community, and in an education setting 365 days a year and potentially 24 hours a day Support ranging from consultation to direct one-to-one or 2: 1 support Assessment of the individual and family needs Assessment and consultation with other providers and organisations to include leisure and learning environments Person centered approaches and structured care planning
