REIMBURSEMENT PROCESS • Is modeled after the International Guidelines set forth by the FSF work group; • Is certified under the ISO 9000:2001 standards; • Has received the Innovation and Quality Award from Mexico’s President; • Requires corporate,accounting, operational and systems information, • In-house software development.

  3. SYSTEMS USED • Monitor of insured deposits (MID) • Used to verify bank’s compliance, by law, to classify it’s insured deposits • Claims Management (Reimbursement Process) • Keep track of the claim form submitted from the depositor, and payment status.

  4. MONITOR OF INSURED DEPOSITS • Feed from Bank’s information; • Three main input files: Depositor, Accounts and Depositor-Account relations; • Banks could issued it’s own information layout or used IPAB’s layout; • Includes the projected balances to future dates of the accounts; • Non insured deposits or special conditions marks; • Report rejections and clarifications (Warnings and errors) • Files used as an output to Claims Management (Reimbursement Process) Avoid the garbage principle: Garbage in, then you will get garbage out. It doesn’t matter how automated is your process!!

Technical features • Stand alone application (runs from a PC or a laptop, with a local database). • System specifications: • Windows XP – OS. • Microsoft .NET – Development tool. • Crystal Reports – Reporting tool. • SQL Server 2000 – Local database. • Two basic functions: • Local management of the information of the visited banks: layouts loading and business rules validation. • Information reporting and exporting under predefined filters.
