JSCSS Antenna LCMM’s mission/manning • 3rd level maintenance of all DND strategic towers and Antenna • Support to 2nd level maintenance organizations such as 1 Line Sqn Detachments • Assist in coordination between 1st and 2nd level communication organizations for maintence(N6, A6, G6, CFIOG, SSG) • Supplying the CF thru the CFSS with items required ISO TA codes C60B and C60C for CF members to conduct Ae maintenance (cables, safety gear, hardware, Baluns, antenna parts, Ect, around 2500 NSN items) • All normal LCMM functions such as assigning/maintaining NSN’s, ensuring the Communications School is producing CF members that can conduct the work required by the TA’s, and supporting new capital projects as they are delivered

  5. JSCSS Ae LCMM’s mission/manning • Assist (as possible) in local capital Ae/Tower projects. If the local capital project is conducted IAW national standards the LCMM will adopt it and 1 Line Sqn will maintain it. If not the local base commander is responsible. • Responsible to provide technical specifications and procurement of all tools and safety equipment for CF pers working aloft on DND strategic antenna support structures • Responsible to update all Antenna and tower technical speciation's, maintenance publications and equipment check lists (CFTO’s) • DND technical authority on fall protection IAW CSA Z259 and Canadian Labor Code Division 2
