Aastra Mobile Client • Aastra Mobile Client runs on Symbian S60 3rd edition based phones (e.g. Nokia E-series) • A compatibility list will be available on Extranet • Easy and menu based access to system features like enquiry, conference, call back,… • GSM Phonebook • The FMC client can use the GSM phonebook for name dialling • Phonebook entries with international formatted numbers like +41 32 655 3333 can be dialled • Also internal numbers can be dialled in this format

PSTN GSM Internet Voice Mail Aastra Mobile Client • Automatic routing and number recognition • Outgoing GSM calls are automatically routed via the OpenCom 100 • The OpenCom automatically recognises if a dialled number is internal or external and routes the call accordingly • Voice Mail • User voicemail box in the system is also available from GSM phone • This gives the possibility to use only one instead of multiple voicemail boxes and avoids confusing

Take your call away • You have an active call on your desk phone and want to leave the office without loosing the call? • With the function “Take” you can easily take over the active call with your GSM phone from the desk phone • …and vice versa • No interruption of the call Take and go or… Take and have a seat !

Security and Authentication • GSM subscribers normally use a dedicated DDI (direct dial inward) number to access the system • This system access number is configured in the FMC client and automatically used • In the communication system several security checks can be defined • User authentication via CLIP • Manual authentication with security code GSM Internet PSTN e.g. DDI -2347

Aastra Mobile Client Software • The Mobile Client Software is provided on the Aastra download server, accessible via Partner Extranet • The download of the Client software to the mobile phone can be done • Directly from the phone, using an internet download link that is provided via SMS • Manually by downloading the software first to a PC and then using a GSM supplier tool, e.g. Nokia Suite https://downloadaddress.aastra.com
