Preliminary Examination • Preliminary examination is done by all doctors and senior MLOPs. • In preliminary examination doctors elicit the patients history, ocular findings. • Then send the patients for investigations depending upon the examination. • Finally the patients will be sent for treatment management. E.g: Above 40,tension & duct, BP, US, Refraction Back

  8. Final Examination • Final examination is done by the medical officer, senior fellows, senior PGs, who explain the patient about his eye condition and treat him according by his disease. Back

  9. Guidelines to Handle the Patients • Be patient • Give clear & detailed instructions • If needed repeat the instructions • Avoid using English words • Use their dialect

Counselling • Counselling is done for the patients who are to be admitted for surgery. • Counselling is done for every specialty clinic patients. • Maintaining register for the patients taken from free to paying special clinic emergency patients are taken to the special clinic of the paying hospital immediately back
