Setting Norms around Marketing and Branding • Communicate the importance of AmeriCorps/Volunteer Florida marketing and branding to program staff • Make it an expectation not the exception • Think of yourself as a partner in this work; we all do it together so let’s show that we are working together!

  4. Best Practices • When it doubt, tri-brand it! (see TFA tri-branding on this PowerPoint) • Pass along articles, media hits, social media campaigns, etc • Ask questions! • Think of creative ways to feature partnership

  9. Practice Situation • Bobby the AmeriCorps member has attended an event, but forgot to wear his AmeriCorps shirt. You quickly want Bobby to be recognized as an AmeriCorps member. • What do you do?

  10. Practice Situation • You are planning an event. What types of branding and marketing ideas do you have to ensure you are fulfilling your requirements. • This can apply to the communication BEFORE the event, during, and after.
