  1. Different Types of Waste Water Treatment Plant

  2. Septic Tanks: The residential septic system consists of 2 or 3 chambers that are used to separate the liquid and solid waste from the wastewater. The sewage at the septic tank will lead to the formation of solid particles at the bottom. The sludge particles are partly broken down and the left-out liquid is passed to the soakaway system through the inlet using an anaerobic digestion process.

  3. Then the liquid is dispersed into the drainage trench where nutrients, organic materials, and pathogens are removed. And the tank needs to be cleaned regularly for its proper functioning.

  4. Cesspits and Cesspools: A cesspool is nothing but a holding tank that helps to store the wastewater from your house until it is removed. It doesn't treat the wastewater but holds it for some time. You have to clean the tank regularly to keep it functioning effectively.

  5. These cesspits are a temporary solution to your waste problem. The disadvantage of this technique is that you have to install a large tank for this purpose. Sewage Treatment Plants: It is one of the best techniques for wastewater treatment. In sewage treatment, the waste is dumped in the plant for the treatment process, and then it is discharged to groundwater.

  6. A settlement chamber, biological realm, and the final clarification are the primary components of a sewage system. These components can be placed separately or can be in an enclosed surface. This type of system can be categorized under multiple categories, one having a settlement chamber and another that has no settlement chamber.

  7. Wastewater treatment systems having a settlement chamber is cleaned periodically to remove the solid wastes from the tank. While in the system with no primary chamber, the solid waste is mixed with several bacteria in an aeration chamber that allows it to degrade. Choose the one that suits your budget and meets all your requirements.
