FOR TEACHERS ONLY

FOR TEACHERS ONLY. Practice Sample 1 – “high,” high salt (therefore high specific gravity), high pH, sediment, glucose, protein, very dark color. Normal – No glucose, no sediment, no protein, standard specific gravity, neutral pH, normal color.

  1. FOR TEACHERS ONLY Practice Sample 1 – “high,” high salt (therefore high specific gravity), high pH, sediment, glucose, protein, very dark color. Normal – No glucose, no sediment, no protein, standard specific gravity, neutral pH, normal color. Sample 2 – “low,” no salt, low pH, no protein, no sediment, no glucose, very light color. Unknowns A – Type 1 Diabetes: no salt, low pH, no protein, no sediment, light color, glucose B – Lupis: normal salt, neutral pH, normal color, positive for protein C – Stress: high salt, low pH, slightly darkned D – Kidney Stones: sediment present, slightly higher salt, neutral pH, no protein or glucose E – Dehydration: excess salt, darker, neutral pH, no glucose or protein
