Underwater Acoustic Communication Networks : Scheduling and Localization Possible application • Underwater acoustic communication (UWAC) poses significant challenges for networking: • Slow depth-dependent propagation speed, contently moving nodes, long delay spread, limited bandwidth and low SINR Our research: Robust Spatial Reuse Scheduling in UWAC Networks Underwater Localization with Time-Synchronization and Sound Speed Uncertainties Research combines signal-processing, graph-theory and network design . We also do hands-on research and validate our algorithms in sea trials PhD student, Roee Diamant, “enjoying” in a sea trial
