People, not just statistics “I came over with my parents when I was eleven, so I don’t remember that much about Costa Rica.” “My husband is a citizen here and he wanted us to come, so I came to be with him.” “My sister studied for 12 years to be a doctor in Uruguay and now she can only find work as a flight attendant. I wanted something better for my two daughters.”
