CAC 2020 Expenses 30% Leadership Development $292,025 Our Conference supports the development of authorized ministers through Committees on Ministry, Communities of Practice, educational offerings, and pastoral support 23% Church Growth/Revitalization $225,025 Resources our Conference’s work in strengthening the ministry of existing churches and the development of new congregations 22% Justice and Witness Ministry $216,024 These resources sustain our longstanding and ongoing commitment to Social Justice including our work in in community organizing, grassroots advocacy, and prophetic witness and action 15% Wider Church Ministries $144,016 Includes the Nehemiah Project partnership with United Financial Ministries, our covenantal ministries with the national setting, and support of partners such as Lancaster Theological Seminary 6% Ecumenism and Interfaith $55,005 Supports our relationship with bodies such as the United Congregational Church of South Africa, the Evangelical Church of Central Germany (EKM) and churches and faith-based organizations in Colombia 4% Search and Call $45,005 Supports our Conference Ministry’s work in ‘Search and Call’ with churches in transition and securing pastoral leadership CAC 2020 Income 77% OCWM $744,500 Supports the work of the United Church of Christ in its Associations, Conferences, and in the national and global church 9% Trust Admin Fees $86,000 Supports the Conference in administering endowment funds that support the ministry of our churches and pastors 5% Association Reimbursements $50,862 Association support for the ministry of our Conference administrative staff 2% Comm. Of Practice $25,000 Provides our ministers the opportunity to hone their practices of ministry and develop meaningful collegial relationships 2% Church Development $26,000 Supports the health and vitality of congregations 1% Friends of Conference $16,000 Funds by individuals and churches support the full range of the Central Atlantic Conference’s ministries 2% Investment Income $25,500 Incomes from endowment that supports ministry initiatives and New Church Development.
