Options for the Work Plan 2018 • Learning • New ESPON project or URBACT project? • Focus exchanges on a new topic: metropolitan landscape, land-use and strategic planning, sustainable mobility, social and territorial cohesion, metropolitan and spatial impacts of circular economy, food and urban/rural linkages …. • Local Seminar in a country: candidates? 2. WG and joint meetings • Mobility Forum? or carry on with ENV Forum? Or both? • What about Urban Development Group: links with CP and UA WGs? 3. Advocacy • Disseminate our working paper: to whom ? • Disseminate results of SPIMA: conference + event during next EWRC + ESPON seminars ? • Implement advocacy strategy: share responsibility within members? • Organize events and coalition building: URBACT, ESPON, Metrex, national associations, association of medium size towns ? • Input on proposals on CP and MFF • Prepare next EMA?

Agenda 2018 activities • 6 Feb: SPIMA conference in Brussels + WG meeting: Urbact project, partnership SLU NBS, input to cohesion policy and MFF, preparation event EWRC… • 4-6 April: ENV Forum – Amsterdam 4/4: WG meeting (preparation EWRC, partnership SLU NBS, event EWRC..) + Joint meeting with Food WG or with GAB WG on nature-based solutions Oct: Event during EWRC to promote SPIMA and MA • Oct: local Seminar or Meeting along a Forum ENV or Mobility Forum (WG sust. mobility planning) • 26-27 Nov: WG meeting in Brussels planning 2019 activities, election chairs, Urbact project … + joint meeting urban Platform? + EMA, Urban Agenda, Conferences, advocacy meetings etc…
