Definition of New Religion Groups which have established based on faith/ religions in Modern Era Groups that can not include the previous established religious organization (Christ, Buddhism, Islam, Hindu, etc., ) They have own 1)principles, 2)rituals, 3)believers and 4) their praying space for gathering.

  4. Religion : 宗 教(syuu-kyou) 宗 (shuu) 1) Center (Core) of the same family 2) Place where worship Ancestors and their spirits 教(kyou) Teaching

  5. Religion = 宗教(Shuu-Kyou) ? ☆Religion religio<Latin> Re ( again ) ligio ( connect ) Re- connect between God and Human Being

  6. Main Definition of New Religion Religious Movements and Organizations since Modern Era ( Middle of 19 century) Especially, that movements spread to the people from grassroots rapidly. (People’s Religion)

  7. Range of New Religion in Japan When? From the end of Edo (Tokugawa Era) What? 1) Religious Groups (not Company, not Moral Groups, not Folk Medicine) 2) Established Organization (not Folk Faith, not Fork Religion) 3) Independent from Religious Groups as before.
