Introduction

Mo represent a convenient way to describe a complete spin system. It is the vectorial sum of all the single vectors describing each single nuclear magnetic moment.

Pulse NMR experimet

Pulse: Consist into applying a complete set of radio frequencies able to excite all the observed nuclei at the same time.

Mo during the pulse, moves from the equilibrium (z axis) describing a spiral.

After the pulse the system come back to the equilibrium giving rise the NMR signal
