Supported by legislation • Introduced From 1 Jan 2015 • The USI Benefits: • Students – for job application and further training • Training providers - enrolment, recognition of prior learning • Employers – recruitment • Regulators – profiling risk and targeting audits • Program managers/policy makers –streamlined data collection, better policy and program design • “23TG479858”

  5. What you, as Registered Training Organisations need to do? Collect a USI / Create a USI Verify a USI / manage corrections Report USI - as part of their AVETMISS reporting Ensure the security of a USI stored in it’s SMS Recognise Transcripts prepared by USI Registrar
