  2. Os textos e as funções da linguagem • Os textos, enquanto unidades comunicativas, manifestam diferentes intenções do emissor: • Informar, • Convencer, • Seduzir, • Entreter, etc..

  3. Função Informativa • Uma das funções mais importantes cumpridas pelos textos utilizadas no ambiente escolar é a de informar.

  4. Função Literária • Intencionalidade estética. • Produz uma mensagem artística , • Obra de arte.

  5. Função Apelativa • Objetivam modificar comportamentos. • Leva o receptor a aceitar o que o autor propõe.

  6. Função Expressiva • Subjetividade do emissor, seus estados de ânimo, seus afetos, suas emoções.

  7. Caracterização linguística dos textos • Textos literários: o conto, a novela, a obra teatral, o poema. • Textos jornalísticos: a notícia, o artigo de opinião, a reportagem, a entrevista.

  8. Textos de Informação Científica: a definição, a nota de Enciclopédia, o relato de experimentos, a monografia, a biografia, o relato histórico.

  9. Textos instrucionais As receitas e as Instruções. Textos Epistolares: • A carta, • A solicitação.

  10. Textos humorísticos • A história em quadrinhos. Textos Publicitários: • O anúncio, • O cartaz, • O folheto.
