  1. Social Work To find informational resources related to social work in the York College Library, there are many approaches that can be used.

  2. Books To find out which books are available in the York College Library, it is necessary to search the online catalog. Starting at the Library’s website (which can be easily accessed by visiting www.york.cuny.edu and clicking the library link in the upper right hand corner of the page)

  5. Library Homepage: CUNY+ Online Catalog Within the CUNY library catalog, you can search for books related to social work on either the search page or the guided search page. Using the guided search page, it is possible to specify a specific year or range of publication years and/or search simply for reference books. In addition, it is possible to search for items owned by all the libraries of CUNY related to social work b y clicking “Select alll CUNY libraries” See the following illustratiuons:

If you look in the Periodicals Black Binders, at the back under the Subject headings--Current Holdings-- you will see the titles of journals under the following headings: Social Services/Welfare (chiefly for Social work), Sociology &                   Social Sciences
