  1. Det var sent på eftermiddagen och Doktor Wallquist satt som vanligt vid skrivbordet i sitt kontor på Silvermuseet och målade. Jag kom just in från grävningen och skulle visa honom dagens arkeologiska fynd. Men Doktorn var inte lika sprudlande entusiastisk som han brukade vara.
