2. 2017 The conference made a large profit No Chapter volunteered to run 2018 DoC proposed the EC take on planning the ISSC Way Forward for 2018-2019 International System Safety Society

3. 2019 and Beyond Plan Objectives Key that specific aspects of conference have continuity Low planning team turnover from year to year Build long term relationships w/ organizations, sponsors and attendees Better able to update and reuse documentation (i.e. presentation guides, emails, sponsor prospectus, etc.) Some consistent tracks/tutorials year over year (tied to initiative) Focus on delivering more value for the funds we collect Goal of lowering registration prices while still addressing key funding targets Multi-year sponsorships Advertising in key markets we want to attract (automotive, etc.) Focus on growing the conference, the ISSS and the field of system safety. Way Forward for 2018-2019 International System Safety Society

Conference Chair  Director of Conferences Technical Chair  Director of Professional Development Publicity Chair  Director of Publicity Finance Chair  ISSC Treasurer Sponsorship Chair  Director of Member Services (Corporate Members) Government Liaison  Director of Government and Inter-Society Services International Liaison  Director of Chapter Services This allows for much of the planning and networking to be “lifted out” of that year’s specific conference planning – ongoing Multi-year strategy for sponsorship, presenters, publicity, etc. Result  Consistent ISSC and ISSS growth year over year Way Forward for 2018-2019 International System Safety Society
