Leslie McHugh is an Illinois based ER nurse having many years of experience under her belt. Currently, she is working at one of the leading hospitals in the United States. She handles a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis that include the following: • Monitoring patients • Maintaining medical records • Consulting physicians and • Administering nursing care of the sick
Leslie makes sure that the patients maintain the appropriate levels of personal hygiene and get proper treatment. She holds the highest nursing position in the hospital and oversees the activities of the entire nursing staff. Along with this, she also oversees each patient’s medical history and overall health. Her day starts by looking through patient reports shared by the nurse from the previous shift. In between these working hours, she takes care of the injured patients, coordinates care with other health-care professionals, and performs physicals. She performs various other duties depending upon the patients’ condition.
Leslie McHugh, as a senior ER nurse also performs diagnostic tests, analyzes results, operates medical equipment, and assists with patients’ follow-up and rehabilitation. Leslie received her Diploma in nursing from a leading institute and an Associate Degree in nursing from community college. She has excellent communication skills that help her keep patients relaxed during emergency situations. She is also a good listener and patiently listens to the concerns and queries of all her patients.
