This document outlines the strategic approach taken by Falkirk in partnership with Dartington Social Research to redesign local services through an Integrated Children’s Services Plan. Amid a challenging financial context marked by a £3.65 million reduction in revenue support and ongoing cost pressures, the initiative emphasizes the need for effective planning and commissioning. The project aims to implement GIRFEC principles, involving a phased pilot to enhance Intensive Family Support Services. Key lessons include the importance of stakeholder engagement and adapting to funding changes.
