  5. BOMA BESt • Self-directed and voluntary • Service to all commercial building owners • Incorporates industry best practices and performance measurement • User-friendly, web-based and affordable

  11. Certification • Every building is verified by a third-party • Certification lasts 3 years. Buildings need to recertify after 3 years. • BOMA BESt Level 1 (best practices) available for all types of assets. • BOMA BESt Levels 2, 3, 4 currently for office assets.

  12. Previously Certified Buildings • Buildings with valid Go Green or Go Green Plus certifications are grandfathered into BOMA BESt • Certificates will be re-issued in November
