The Basics… • You cannot hand in more than one form a week. • Will not be accepted without a parent signature (Parents sign AFTER you fill out the form.) • Turn in PATTERNS forms near the calendar in Ms. Fasanella’s room. • No more than 5 books by the same author • Each form = 3 points • One day late form = 1.5 points
Fiction Forms • Main characters (at least 2) • Setting (time and place) • Conflict (ALL fiction books have them!) • Result – How does the book end? • Quotation – Not just something someone says! • Recommendation – WHY?
Non - Fiction • 3 new things you learned • Quotation – Don’t forget the “WHY?” • Recommendation – WHY?
Challenging Choice • A list of 10 specific books! • All are available in the school library • Blue forms • More to come soon!
