  3. Goals of the Team • Win the Conference Championship (‘08) • Qualify for the play-offs (‘07) • Advance through the state play-offs • Beat South Plainfield (8-0)

  4. Getting It Done • Playing as many guys as possible • Guys playing 1 way • Multiple players rotating at any position • Keeping guys fresh • Understand you are better when you are fresh

  5. Being a CANUCK • “Your kids play hard.” • Hustle • Finish the play on Offense • 11 to the ball on defense • Effort • Regardless of opponent or score • Discipline • Limit the mental and physical mistakes • Winners attitude • Shut up and play

  6. Practice Expectations • See the inside cover of your playbook • This is critical to our success • Strive to be the best player possible • Do whatever is asked of you with great effort and attitude

Being a great teammate • Stay positive – Body language is important • Encourage each other • Don’t be selfish • Be more excited about your teammates accomplishments than you would be your own • Pick a guy up when he is down • Don’t let somebody think they, as an individual, are more important than the team • Care about each other

Numbering System • 1st Digit: Formation, indicated by the numbering system • 2nd Digit: Series, a group of plays that looks the same with multiple ball carriers and multiple points of attack (What we are doing and How) • 3rd Digit: Point of Attack, where the play will be run • Prefix Formation Series Point of Attack Suffix • Spread 1 3 1 Sweep 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
